The Internet of Things, or IoT, is basically a network of physical devices that are embedded with sensors, software, and other tech that allows them to connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the internet. These devices can be anything from refrigerators and thermostats to complex industrial machinery and even entire cities! They collect and share data, allowing them to automate tasks and gain insights from the real world.
